It feels like I’ve had a lot going on this week, until I actually stop and think about it, and then I start wondering, “What the hell have I been so busy with?”

Monday was a holiday here in Ontario; their first ever Family Day long weekend. Family Day is luxury I’d been accustomed to in Alberta for as long as I can remember. We went out for breakfast as a family, lounged about in the afternoon, and then went out for supper as well. It completely threw off my regular schedule however, and so today only feels like Tuesday, which means I feel behind in my week already. Not that I am complaining about the extra day with Jack

Nia and I have been hitting the gym four times a week now, which seems to eat up at least a couple of hours on those days. It feels so good to be working out again. I needed to get out of the house this evening, so I treated myself to a new yoga mat and some sexy workout gear. One can never have too many good sports bras or lycra booty shorts.

This weekend I have a couple of dates lined up. Sunday I am having coffee with a friend who I’ve mentioned here before, but who has not been assigned a name as of yet. I did photos for her one Saturday afternoon not long ago, and we’ve hit it off quite excellently. I shall call her Miri, which means ‘mine’ and you can read into that however you will *sly wink*.

Afterwards, I am getting together with Nelek, for coffee and more lascivious things. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I likely won’t be able to spend any time with him again until well into March. Thus, I am going to make the most of Sunday, as they say.

Today was spent indoors, tidying the house while I listened to episodes of Polyamory Weekly on my iPod. Nothing like being elbow-deep in dishwater while Minx purrs on about responsible non-monogamy. She may yet inspire me to try doing a podcast of my own.

Before I leave off for the evening and crawl into bed with Jack, I have a favour to ask! I need some dare suggestions for an adult party. I know I’ve asked for this before, but this time I need them to be short and easily applied to a group of people who don’t know each other well. We’re going to be writing them on slips of paper and giving one to each guest at random. We’ve got things like “Show some skin” and “Introduce yourself to an attractive stranger” but I need quite a few more. So, think about going to a sexy adult party where you might not know anyone all that well. What sorts of dares would you like to see people do? What would you be willing to do? Thanks to a good blogger buddy of mine, my attention was drawn to this incredible article on polyamory over a Freaksexual. I’d never been over to that particular blog before, but I’m certainly glad I found it. Check it out, it’s very well written.

As much fun as holidays are, and as much as I loved spending the past two weeks lounging about with my wonderful husband, it’s good to be getting back to a more normal routine. I missed blogging, and chatting, and all of those good computer related things. I hope you weren’t too lonely without me

My New Years Eve was quite fabulous, and while most people do not get a lot of enjoyment out of January, Jack and I have an anniversary coming up which gives me something to look forward to. Nia is able to come over to watch the kids for a few hours so that Jack and I can go out for sushi or something. I haven’t had sushi in a long time, so I am really looking forward to that.

There is also a contest in the works here at SD. I’m not sure if I mentioned it before, and I had intended to kick it off on January 1st, but was too tired and unmotivated to post anything that day. At any rate, I’ll be sharing the details on that later this week, or on the weekend. There will be some awesome prizes involved!

Jack has me hooked on this site he discovered called JaneLovesDick.com which is a free site for adult web cam play. Basically you sign up so that you can access the chatrooms where you can view the web shows of multiple people at a time. Pretty hot stuff if you’re a voyouer or an exhibitionist. The people who participate on that site are normal, every day people like you and I. Not super models by any stretch, nor is there any insulting or name calling, no matter what you look like. Generally I just lurk, but who knows, one of these evenings Jack and I might put on a show there. If you are into ‘real people’ porn, be sure to check it out.

I know this isn’t exactly a thrilling update, especially since I’ve been gone so long. I hope you’ll forgive me, I promise more excitement (or at least more substance) in the coming weeks.

That sensual little vixen Piper has generously bestowed a Rockin Girl Blogger Award upon yours truly. I’ll bet you already knew that I squealed with girlish glee. How terribly flattering.

It brings me great pleasure to do unto others and hand out the ‘hardware’ to a number of other women I adore and appreciate for the sexy minxes they are!

Padme - Padme and I go quite a ways back, and she’s one of my very dearest friends and her blog is one of the coolest I know. She’s been my biggest fan and one of my most regular commenters and she just rocks my world Not to mention that the photos she and her husband post on their blog are enough to turn my knees to jello!

Shibari - Ah how she spoils us with her gorgeous and sensual photos and the thoughtful posts that she writes on her ‘confessional’. She is a new read for me, but one I have greatly enjoyed thus far!

Cherrie - How boring the blogosphere would be without this articulate little sexpot. She’s one of the main reasons I so look forward to HNT ever week.

JeN - Even though she only updates once a decade, JeN will remain one of my favorite bloggers off all time. I believe this is the third incarnation of my blog, and she has been with me through all of them. My first good friend from blogland, and certainly one of the awesomest bloggers ever because like very few others, she is not anonymous!

Anna - I enjoy Anna’s writing a great deal. There has always been a certain gentleness about it, a smooth sense of sensuality that is neither tawdry nor forced.

There you go my girls! I adore each of you for your uniqueness and special appeal Unlike other ‘blog fads’ you do not need to feel obligated to keep this one going if you don’t want to. However, should you have the desire, feel free to pass out a few to the rockin girl bloggers you love! Try to give them to people who haven’t yet received one

Considering how mostly-conservative this province is, I was pleased to see it.

It’s not very long, and my only disappointment is that they only interviewed one family. Perhaps they couldn’t find anyone else who wanted to take part, who knows.

I do have to give them props for using a MMF family, and not the ‘typical’ FMF. Having a bi-sexual male as the hinge in a V is a pretty cool thing.

Sadly breakups seem to be going around lately.
