OhMiBod Music Driven Vibrator Review
Posted on March 31st, 2009 in Bedroom Bling, Reviews, Sex Toy Care
Ever since I got my iPod Touch, I’ve been itching to try the OhMiBod Music Driven Vibrator. Two of my favorite things, music and wanking, coming together in a package that is so full of win I can hardly stand it. Could sex toys possibly get any better?
The first thing that struck me about the OhMiBod is that it’s way bigger than it appears in photos. I mean, I was imagining something smallish, designed more for external stimulation than internal. I joked with V about wearing it to the gym, because I figured it would be small enough to stay nestled inside me while I sweated it out on the elliptical trainer. However, when it arrived, I was surprised to find it was more like a standard sized vibrator.
The OhMiBod can be used both with an MP3 player, or on it’s own. You don’t need an iPod brand MP3 player either, any one will do. The vibrator does not run off of the power of your MP3 player either, it requires batteries. It includes a splitter, which plugs into the player, and then your headphones and the vibrator are plugged into that. It also comes with a handy little storage pouch.
It actually does pulse to the music. The intensity of the vibration is dictated by the volume of the music. When you turn up really loud the pulsations decrease, I would assume because there is no more room for the toy to go ‘up’.
This toy is especially fabulous because you can create your own playlist of songs to get you grooving. It will be as fast or as slow as you want it. You can adjust the intensity to suit your mood. There really aren’t any drawbacks that I can think of.
The body of the vibrator is made of hard plastic. Cleaning it with an antibacterial wipe is likely your best bet, although soap and water will work. Be careful not to get water in the base.
OhMiBod has plenty of power, and aside from being just a really fun toy, great for stimulation inside and out, it gets the job done.
