ID Glide Airless Pump Lubricant Review

ID Glide is one of the better known brands of basic water-based lubricant on the market these days.  It works well for pretty much anything you need lubricant for, it’s safe with all condoms and sex toys, and it’s the least likely to cause any sort of irritation or reaction.

The main reason that I’m featuring this particular product here today is not for the contents of the bottle, but for the really convenient new airless pump feature that they have added.  PinkCherry drew this new feature to my attention and asked if I would give it a try and share my opinion.

I’m sure most of us know what it’s like to fiddle around with the lid of a lubricant bottle, when you’re already as slick as a greased pig.  There has been more than one moment in our bed where one-handed lube dispensing was required, because the other appendage was wedged into some orifice or another.

During those particularly passionate escapades I was quite greatful to have this bottle of lube on hand, because the pump makes it very easy to apply the right amount of lubricant without a lot of fumbling around and interuption of said activities.  You won’t end up spilling liquid all over the place either.

The airless pump means that you don’t have to work really hard to get lube out when the bottle begins to empty.  It’s not like the more traditional pump-top bottles, where a goodly amount of product is left in the bottom.

A variety of ID Glide flavoured lubricants, such as Big Banana, Fresh Peach, and Bubble Gum are also available in airless pump top bottles.  Personally I’m not partial to flavoured lubes (I stuck to the original scent and flavour free version for product testing) but many women and men find that a little change of pace makes oral sex more fun.
