I think I’ve about had my fill of ‘edible’ product reviews, LOL. This one comes to you courtesy of Vibrator.com and features Kama Sutra Stimulating Spearmint Gel.
I had high hopes for this product, since the smell of it was minty fresh and my mind was rolling with possibilities that involved a number of sensual areas.
My first test run involved applying a little to my lips. I generally suggest trying unknown products on your lips BEFORE applying them to more sensitive parts of your body. So I smeared some on (so did V, just to get an additional opinion) and within moments both of us were screwing up our faces in discomfort and disgust. It burned, and it tasted awful. It also started to become sticky almost immediately.
We agreed that the offensive taste was caused by the total lack of sweetness. It was like tasting pure concentrated mint. Some people might like that, but not us.
Reluctant to give up on it so easily, the next trial run involved my nipples. A little was rubbed on at first, and I felt…nothing. So a more generous dollop (the size of a small pea) was applied. It started off a little tingly before evolving into full on uncomfortable. I was not amused. It took several minutes after washing the stuff off before my nipples started to feel normal again.
Icky. Not to mention the taste again, double icky.
I will say that for people who enjoy a sort of medium burning sensation as part of sexual play, this product might appeal to you. That is not my cup of tea at all, but I know that there are people out there who enjoy it.
