People Like Items!

Lack of blog is generally an indication that I’m going through a phase of being to self-involved to bother writing much. The past few weeks are no exception. I’ve been falling desperately in love with a certain young greyhound, and quite deeply into like with a certain young virgin.
The hound will be coming home this weekend, and getting this house dog-proofed and his room ready has been a lot more work than I initially anticipated. It’s joyful work however, and it’s been wonderful motivation to complete a number of household projects that have been pushed to the bottom of my priority list for months. This dog is going to be ridiculously spoiled, that’s all I can say.
On Sunday I spent around seven hours with Kade. For the most part we cuddled on his bed and watched movies. There was also some making out. He’s a pretty fair kisser for a total novice. I really enjoyed just spending time with him, relaxing and snuggling. Such a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to manage an overnight with him at some point soon.
I shouldn’t be ‘gone’ much longer. Until then, here’s a cute kitteh:
