Super Cuffs Review

Having a number of vegan/vegetarian pals, some of whom also happen to be kinky, I thought it would be nice to feature a non-leather bondage product on my site for the benefit of those who do not like more traditional BDSM items either for ethical or aesthetic reasons. Babeland was kind enough to supply me with a pair of neoprene Super Cuffs, which are perfect for the animal-lover on your list.
Velcro cuffs are also ideal for beginner bondagees (is that even a word? LOL) who may be intimidated by buckle/locking/leather cuffs. Not to mention those who may want to do a little bondage in the pool, or other situations which may expose cuffs to excess moisture. I saw a fantastic water bondage/torture scene over the summer which involved neoprene cuffs and a collar, which gave me cause to reconsider my all-leather restraint collection. These cuffs are also easily washable either by hand (be sure to rinse thoroughly and leave to dry in the open) or on the delicate cycle of your washing machine.
I’ve always been skeptical of velcro closure cuffs, simply because I am excessively wiggly and I didn’t think they would hold up under the pressure. I was pleasantly surprised by super cuffs, which are designed to be very, very secure, thanks to overlapping double velcro closures. Basically you wrap the cuff around the wrist, secure it with one velcro strap in one direction, and then there is another velcro strap which comes from the opposite direction and lays over the first velcro strap, which is double sided. While I doubt that actually helped at all, trust me when I say, you will NOT escape these bad boys. Unless of course you chew off your own limb.
The cuffs are super comfortable and light-weight, making them ideal for prolonged wear. They are also durable, and will last a long time. You can use them seperately or easily attach them together via the velcro and the d-rings (instructions included). I love how adjustable they are in size, as they will fit most wrists and ankles (make sure you buy two pair!).
Neoprene is more affordable than leather, which makes these cuffs a nice option for people who don’t have a ton to spend on their equipment collection, and in this case you certainly will not be compromising on quality.
Please note that these cuffs are NOT suitable for suspension, and care should always be taken to ensure a proper fit that does not interfere with the circulation of the wearer.
