Shasta Gibson (SG) [27 yrs old] – The star of this blog show, me!
I find great joy in little things. Curling up with a good book, lying in a puddle of sunlight, taking a hot bath, or a really well brewed cup of coffee.
I love fine tea and houseplants. I collect books and funky art glass pieces. I want more of both.
Currently I am evolving as a person, expanding my ways of thinking about the world, using up my share of the oxygen.
Not to mention pursuing my dreams, discovering new places, meeting new people, consuming a lot of coffee.
I want to make the most of every single minute I have on this earth. There never seems to be enough time to accomplish all of the things on my plethora of lists.
I am very good at getting exactly what I want. I generally manage it through a combination of determination and creativity.
I also seem to have an uncanny ability to teach myself almost anything out of a book or from the Internet. I have above-average reading comprehension and retention, which serves me well.
I spend a lot of time thinking about office supplies, writing, things I want to do tomorrow and next week.
Also calendars, and where my phone disappeared to, and why did I turn the ringer off before I lost the damn thing?
Sometimes sloths, and the platypus too. And shiney things.

Jack [34 yrs old] – My loving and wonderful (not to mention SEXY) husband. There are no words to describe how happy he makes me. He is my soul mate, my best friend, and the love of my life. I can’t imagine being without him. We have a strong marriage, he is my rock, and no matter what happens I know that I will never be without him. I could not ask for a better husband, nor a more fantastic father to our children. He’s one in a million and I am so grateful that he chooses to be a part of my life journey.
V [27 yrs old] – My bestest best friend in the world. We always joke about her being my ‘other husband’ because she and I are so close. I love her like family, and I think that without her I would live a less fulfilling and authentic existence. She is also known as my Heterosexual Life Partner. Really there are no words that do justice to this amazing woman, and I am so honored to call her my best friend.
Aiden [26 yrs old] – Current love, perhaps I daresay Dom? Who needs labels really. My first ‘Tease Hookup’ turned boyfriend. He likes paint ball, and LARP, and has an albino corn snake whom I shall call “Tank”. We’ve only been dating for a couple of months, and yet, he’s the sort of person I can just tell I will not get tired of. He complained that I made him sound ‘like a nerd’ here.
Nia [30 yrs old] – My first real friend in Ontario. One of my best friends, gym rat pal, and OCD play date. She got me hooked on drumming, and allows me to snorgle her animals whenever I want to. Source of endless facts and information, and the best popcorn I’ve ever had!
LD [43 yrs old] – He is fulfilling my curiosity with older men, although he hardly fits the bill. His boyish fascination with life and his carefree ways add to the appeal. He loves Thai food and vintage furniture, and he’s the sort of artsy type you would expect to find in an upscale coffee house pouring over a book of French poetry.
Kade (formerly The Virgin) [23 yrs old] – Although I had sworn off dating younger men, his genuine innocence and charming personality lured me into seeing him.

Luke and Saydie [7 yrs and 5 yrs old respectively] – Our two children.
P [22 yrs old] – Former girlfriend of K and now best friend of moi and love interest of Jack. A truly sweet and thoughtful young woman, she and I can spend hours and hours talking and laughing over coffee. I adore her a great deal and I am hopeful that our friendship will be long-lasting.
A [26 yrs old] – Another bestest best friend of mine. She is going to school in a different province, so sadly I don’t get to see her much.
Todd [35 yrs old] – Part owner of Goodhandy’s night club and all around awesome guy.
Varick [26 yrs old] – Former lover and play partner. Mutual breakup over mismatched relationship needs.
H [29 yrs old] – A really well educated young man whom I consider a good friend. We dated briefly but we make better friends than anything else.
M [28 yrs old] – V’s ex from quite a while back. He is still a good friend of both Jack and I, and we try to get together as a group for socializing when schedules allow. He’s really attractive and funny, and pretty much a computer genius.
Nelek [25 yrs old] – On again, off again fuck buddy.
X [35 yrs old] – Close pal from Calgary. One of my most interesting and eccentric friends. We both like weird things, and therefore will forever be mates.
Remi [unknown] – Nia’s ex-boyfriend. Currently resides in Calgary
Flavia [30 yrs old] – One of Nia’s former girlfriends
Q [35 yrs old] – Sort of a strange situation with this one. We run into each other in bars, hang out, have a great time. Hooked up once and I haven’t heard from him since. Typical.
DF [27 yrs old] – V’s ex-boyfriend. Only on the list for reference purposes.
R [30 yrs old] – My first ‘real’ sexual fling outside of my marriage. Basically he was a memorable one night stand.
Mz. F (formerly known as F) [23 yrs old] – One of Jack’s former close friends, turned inconsiderate twat.
T [27 yrs old] – V’s former roommate and a good friend of mine. She’s fun and fabulous and I adore spending time with her!
K [26 yrs old] – The first guy I dated seriously during the Polyamory Experiment. Now we don’t speak to each other because he’s a fucktard.
O [31 yrs old] – She and Jack dated casually for a while and we were friends. For reasons that are unclear she stopped speaking to us one day.
