Congrats on your new living arrangement with Aiden. I know that he’s become a part of your family and that it will be nice for you to be able to spend more time together with him living with you. I am happy for you with the new changes in your life and glad you were able to find Aiden in your life this year. I’ve noticed how much happier you are.

Jack and I dated for less than a year before being married (our wedding was actually on the one-year anniversary of our first date). We didn’t get engaged until around the 10-month mark, but we both new at around the 4-month area that we wanted to be together for life.

When I put it in that sort of perspective (and hear success stories like yours) it makes me feel like it’s not *actually* as quick as it sometimes seems.

Oh I’m so glad I’m not the only one. Between you and me and the internet, I asked him to move in right around the two month mark, and I’ve been job hunting for him ever since. We’ve also used this time for discussion of course.
