Raw Foods – Day Six

Posted on February 6th, 2009 in Are You Gonna Eat That?, Budge That Pudge, Photos

Eating raw has become much easier since my last post.

V and I have discovered a number of tasty recipes, and we’ve begun getting accustomed to the methods and ingredients involved in raw foods preparation.  Here are a few of the tasty things we’ve been eating recently:

Raw Onion Bread Sandwiches

Veggie Sandwiches On Raw Onion Bread

Raw Gardenburger

Raw Gardenburger

Raw Spirulina Pie

Raw Spirulina Pie

It’s becoming less of a struggle and more of normal way of eating. Yes, I still miss coffee, but I’m not thinking about as much.

The results are encouraging.  Yesterday I tried on a pair of pants that I bought the last time I lost weight, and they fit again!  I haven’t been able to put them on for a year and a half, and now I can wear them comfortably.  When I look in the mirror, I can see that I am getting smaller.  Trotting around in my ‘skinny’ pants gives me motivation to keep at it.

Cravings seem to be easing, and I haven’t noticed a decrease in energy levels or anything of that nature, which is encouraging.  Right now, it’s difficult to believe that it’s almost been a whole week.
