While I am not making any resolutions for 2009, after successfully completing my 50 Things Mini List in 2008, I have decided to select 75 life list items to complete in 2009. My 2009 Mini List: 2. Visit the Toronto Zoo 7. Run a 5K marathon 8. Plant a garden 12. Make myself a koi fish teapot 14. See New York City 16. Fit into my pin-stripe skirt 22. Teach myself to pee standing up 23. Learn to roller blade 39. Ride on an actual train 40. Send a message in a bottle 45. Fast for 3 days 46. Camp in a tent by myself for (at least) 1 night 53. Sell my art to a stranger 59. Walk through the Historic District of Quebec City 62. Give money to a cause I feel strongly about 63. Write my will 67. Donate blood 68. Attend a Gay Pride Parade 73. Train travel here is pretty pricey (as compared to driving or flying) so we just haven’t bothered as of yet. I’m really looking forward to crossing that one off though.
Do you happen to live next to a large body of water via which I might send you that message?

I LOVE Alton Brown! I have two of his books, and I watch his show as often as I can. He’s totally brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing that recipe with me. I’ll let you know if/when I try it!
